Good morning, Don,

I hear you. When you have the skills, color shouldn't matter, but here it is. While reading this story, those heart strings start pulling about the unfairness of it all. I believe he will persevere and face this adversity with grace.

If his father "built an empire out of doubt", apparently his doubt wasn't serious enough to see what a racist party Trump leads and how it would systematically use a "chainsaw" to fire black men and women at top positions in the government and military... . And of the course, the only reason Trump tweeted about his son is because he needed the black vote and wanted to reward his father for his support...

Meanwhile, Trump's Heritage Foundation is abolishing black history month and rewriting school textbooks.

Apparently, becoming wealthy is one thing. Having the kind of healthy doubt that Descartes proposed is an entirely different thing.

Apart from that: yes, systemic racism thrives again today. Because the GOP makes it more SYSTEMIC than ever, hardwiring it once again into how the government operates. We WILL defeat them as many times as needed!

YES WE CAN!!

Good Morning Don

All this is plantation shit Yes this is all about putting Deon in his place Collusion of the NFL owners Never want a young black man to succeed. Systemic racism Deon has always been his unapologetic self and has raised his sons in the same light Their faith in God is strong and his sons will rise. This was all to humiliate Deon and his son. Shedeur will prevail .

Hi Don,

If we don’t teach our children to see themselves beyond what this world says about them, we chain their spirit. It’s deeper than skin what we plant within them becomes the foundation of who they are. The energy we pour into the universe shapes the reality that meets them. When we teach them to expect pain because of their skin, even without meaning to, we plant the seeds of doubt and inferiority.

If we believe we are less, the world will treat us as less. Why bow to a world that was never built for our greatness? Living that way only builds walls around dreams that were meant to soar.

It’s a tragedy that so many institutions teach only what is shallow, when they should be speaking to the soul — teaching something deeper, something life-giving, something true.

Deion Sanders raised Shedeur Sanders with a spirit that refuses to shrink full of confidence, full of pride, full of beautiful purpose. And no matter what storms the world sends, we must keep raising our children the same way: unapologetically bold, rich in spirit, entitled to love, and rooted in the unshakable truth of their worth.

Well, payback to all of them sans the team that has seen his potential (albeit late) would be a Super Bowl Ring!! I will hope for that!

Having watched the draft many were bewildered by what happened to sanders these are folks who know football but this weren’t about football it was about trying to humble and put him in his place the funny thing is they failed miserably. Shaddur was happy to be drafted and jumped in a pool to celebrate. Yes racism is still alive and well. And that sucks

While I agree with you whole heartedly on the way people whose skin is darker toned, and I agree we are all exactly the same animal (Homo sapiens). The only place I disagree is his draft position. As I recall Joe Montana was drafted 82nd - or something near there and he was one of the greatest quarterbacks of all times. As to Deion bragging about his son, good for him! Parents should be proud of their children -and that has nothing to do with shade of skin
