Agree! To say that they would rather have a dictator than a black woman in charge is very devastating!

Not sure they would’ve voted for any woman.

You have no clue of what you speak. We look for the best candidate not a man or woman or black or white. It’s the lesson the left has yet to learn.

If you didn’t pick the right candidate because YOU chose a Convicted Felon, your lack of morality and fair judgement cant be trusted;most consider you to be a traitor and visibly a blatant chauvanist

So in your mind all of the 77 million people that voted for Trump. Are they also traitors? I’m curious.

Absolutely! I cant state what I really feel about how disgusting I find you creatures, but TRAITOR sums up the general idea. “Human” is even a stretch

I'm a white woman and have a lot of the same feelings you've described. I've been very sad to the point of tears to see what's happening. It's so deplorable.

I wanted to say this as well. I was riding the hope that Kamala would be elected too. My daughter kept telling me not to get my hopes up because she didn’t believe this country would elect a woman of color. I said, “Oh yes they will!” It’s devastating to me that he won and I’m sick about what he’s doing.

Please explain why any black person, especially a black woman would vote for him Don? It makes no sense to me. Every day it’s something new w this sad admin… not the USA I grew up in…

Same for me! There’s a Republican black woman running for governor of Virginia. She’s presently the lieutenant governor. How on earth can any one of color support these monsters? It’s mind boggling!

I think we hurt all of us who voted for her. I feel it deeply because she’s from my state. We know her well. She’s amazing. We have a monster or I should say, many monsters in this horrible time. It’s painful for everyone.

I feel your pain and sense of utter betrayal. Please know though, there is mounting evidence that the results of the last election are far from the reality of how this nation’s people voted. There is proof of Jim Crow style vote suppression across many states without the public knowledge which can be seen at Greg Palast Trump Lost Vote Suppression Won https://www.gregpalast.com/trump-lost-vote-suppression-won/ there is also mounting proof of electronic manipulation of the vote which can be found at Election Truth Alliance here on Substack or https://electiontruthalliance.org/2024-us-election-analysis

I’m so frustrated with people who speak like we ALL chose this. I honestly don’t even think most of this chose this…I truly believe there was voter fraud. But yet we are being blamed for the horrors of what is happening. Some of us tried and are still trying to fight against this.

I honestly stayed in bed 3 days after the election. I cried on and off those 3 days. Devastated isn’t even close to what I felt when Harris didn’t win. I was so sure that monster would never be back in the White House. I phone banked for the Harris campaign and I felt so hopeful. Now I wake up everyday to the shit show we now have to call our “new” America. I call, email and even fax my Reps but they’re all Republicans but I do it anyway. I support wherever I can whenever I can. I’m just hoping we can all stick together and find a way through this.

This is such a transforming interview - it is most disheartening to hear the pain and feelings of betrayal by a fellow human being.

Although as a white woman I know there is no way I can come close to understanding the deep sadness evoked it was very painful to hear it.

The only hope is that we do not continue backpedaling and we listen and encourage equality. Every minute of every day.

As a white woman, I want you to remember that we loved Obama...and if he was able to run again....he would win in a landslide. I believe people were too much against a WOMAN as president is why they did not elect Harris.

I am also a Canadian living down here in the south and get tired of listening to those that think this current Pres is doing for them...hell no.
